Intense Race for the Georgian International
According to the report, the Georgian international (37 caps, 20 goals) is also on the radar of newly-promoted Premier League club Sunderland AFC, managed by Régis Le Bris. In addition, clubs from Turkey and Saudi Arabia are reportedly keen on acquiring his services.
Mikautadze, a product of Lyon’s academy, is currently under contract with his boyhood club until June 30, 2028. Lyon, whose divisional status for the upcoming season is still uncertain, reportedly will not consider offers below €25 million for their coveted number 69.
