PSG NEWS – One of PSG’s most emotional youth moments happened in 2013. An 18-year-old Hervin Ongenda scored a game-tying goal in the 82nd minute after receiving a clever pass from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The match took place in Libreville, Gabon. PSG had been trailing since the 38th minute. Then coach Laurent Blanc subbed in three youngsters: Ongenda, Coman (17), and Verratti (20). Their energy turned the game around.

Ongenda was grateful. He came off the bench, received a perfect pass from Zlatan and scored
Coach Blanc called him gifted, technically sharp, and composed in front of goal.

Interestingly, Ongenda had just signed his first professional contract on June 28, 2013. He had only one official appearance, but shined in preseason. Scored against Sturm Graz and Hammarby, including a classy lob goal.

Even Zlatan mentioned him. Ibra rarely compliments anyone. But he noted PSG had more young talents. Including the kid who scored the second goal. That kid was Ongenda.
