Manchester United Eye Warren Zaire-Emery in Long-Term Midfield Rebuild

Zaire Emery vs Strasbourg

Manchester United have initiated early talks to sign Warren Zaire-Emery. The young midfielder is seen as a core piece in Ruben Amorim’s long-term vision at Old Trafford.

Zaire-Emery is only 19 but has already played 125 games for PSG with 8 goals and 9 assists. He’s praised for his tactical maturity, tempo control, and press resistance.

PSG are open to selling but only if their €100 million valuation is met. With United constrained by the Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR), that’s a major obstacle.

United are also pursuing a striker and remain interested in Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. A move for Zaire-Emery likely depends on player sales first.

Zaire-Emery is not a quick fix. He fits Amorim’s plan for a young, system-driven squad. If finances improve, United could make a late-window move to reshape their midfield for years to come.
