PSG NEWS -Before lifting their first Champions League trophy in 2025, PSG signed a 30-year deal to stay at Parc des Princes. The agreement was sealed in late 2013 with the City of Paris.
As part of the deal, PSG committed 75 million euros to renovate the stadium ahead of Euro 2016. They upgraded seating, built new VIP lounges, improved locker rooms, and revamped the press box.

The removal of the stadium’s moat increased capacity to 47,000. Renovations took place during summer breaks. After Euro 2016, PSG received a green light to plan an expansion toward 60,000 seats.
In return, PSG started paying 1 million euros in fixed rent yearly. Double the previous fee. Plus a percentage based on stadium revenue. Leaving early meant a penalty worth seven years of rent.
This deal laid the foundation for PSG’s Qatari era. Before building a dynasty, they secured their home: Parc des Princes.
