PSG Set to Complete an Unexpected Transfer?

Luis Enrique vs Arsenal

The summer transfer window is already buzzing with rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain, with Luis Campos keen on pulling off a few major deals.

However, it’s the departures that are expected to make the most noise, as the capital club needs to trim its squad, with a long list of unwanted players.

After securing their first-ever UEFA Champions League title, PSG is determined to maintain its dominance over European football. That’s why Luis Campos has been hard at work for several weeks now, looking to provide Luis Enrique with the reinforcements he needs.

But the real drama of the summer will undoubtedly center on the exits, as the club looks to reshape its current roster.

A Wave of Departures at PSG
There are numerous players who no longer fit into Luis Enrique’s plans. A perfect example is Randal Kolo Muani, who was loaned to Juventus in January, and whose future now seems uncertain.

Then there’s Milan Skriniar, who was also pushed toward a winter move to Fenerbahçe, and he appears to have significant interest in the transfer market.

Even Kang-In Lee, who has been fairly well-regarded in the rotation, could be on his way out of PSG.

But for some players, the task of finding a new home may be a little trickier…

Renato Sanches to Turkey?
This brings us to Renato Sanches, the once-promising Portuguese talent who has struggled with consistency. After impressing at Lille, the midfielder decided to try his luck at PSG, but he has never managed to convince.

The arrival of Luis Enrique seems to have marked the end of his Paris adventure, even though his contract runs until June 2028. However, hope is on the horizon for PSG. According to Turkish media outlet FotoMaç, the Portuguese international, valued at around €3 million by Transfermarkt, is reportedly a target for Beşiktaş.
