Ultras PSG chaos

PSG NEWS – Before PSG became a symbol of football modernity, the club had a troubled past. One of the darkest chapters came on May 13, 2013, when title celebrations at Trocadéro turned into a riot.

PSG players stood just five minutes on stage. Suddenly, chaos broke out—flares, tear gas, smashed cafés, a car burned. Thirty people were injured. It wasn’t the first time violence surrounded the club.

In February 2010, PSG fans fought each other inside the stadium. Yann Lorence, from the Kop de Boulogne, was beaten to death by fellow supporters. The club responded by dissolving all official fan groups and randomizing seating.
