Vítor Machado Ferreira, known as Vitinha, was born on February 13, 2000, in Santo Tirso, Portugal. He is a right-footed midfielder, stands 1.72 meters tall, and wears jersey number 17 for Paris Saint-Germain.

Vitinha emerged from FC Porto’s academy and starred in the 2019 UEFA Youth League. He made his senior debut in January 2020 and spent the 2020-2021 season on loan with Wolverhampton in the English Premier League.

In 2021-2022, Vitinha returned to Porto and shined as a starter, leading the team to a domestic double. He played 47 matches and was named player of the month twice.

He joined PSG on June 30, 2022, for a €40 million transfer fee. From the start, he impressed in midfield, including a flawless performance in the 2022 Trophée des Champions.

On May 31, 2025, Vitinha assisted a goal in PSG’s 5-0 Champions League final win over Inter Milan. His season-long brilliance earned him praise as one of the world’s best midfielders, even according to Luka Modrić.
